Chollom Boyi, the Development Chairman of Kum village in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, has spoken about the bandit attack on his community on July 12, 2026.

Speaking in an interview from 1:31 with News Central TV, Boyi said drones were seen flying over his community during the attack. He stated that he did not know who was operating the drones or where they came from.

Chollom Boyi said he is worried that criminal groups may now be using drones to plan and carry out attacks on communities.
