General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has urged the Federal Government and security agencies to intensify efforts to address insecurity across the country, stressing the need for decisive action against terrorist groups operating in different parts of Nigeria.
In a video from From 0:58 shared by The Cable, the cleric made the remark while speaking on the security challenges facing the nation and the importance of restoring peace to affected communities, noting that Nigerians deserve to live and carry out their daily activities without fear while expressing confidence that the country’s security institutions have the capacity to tackle the threats if provided with the necessary support and urgency.
“I will say quietly to our government to move fast and tell our security chiefs to get rid of these terrorists within 90 days or resign.”
Adeboye also emphasized the need for leaders at all levels to remain committed to their responsibilities, stating that the protection of lives and property should remain a top priority while encouraging citizens to continue supporting lawful efforts aimed at strengthening national security and stability across the country.
