According to a report by Daily Post on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Adams Oshiomhole, the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, has stated that President Bola Tinubu does not assign other officials to present the annual budget before the National Assembly, stressing that such a responsibility is carried out personally by the President in recognition of the importance of accountability to the legislature.
Speaking on the issue, Oshiomhole said the standard set by the President should serve as an example for every government agency and public institution.
