Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X account to say the fact that the name of the leader of the Conservative Party is “Kemi” does not render her Nigerian.
This came after Kemi Badenoch’s spokesperson said she’s not Nigeria’s public relations representative.
According to Punch, the spokesperson said;
“She stands by what she says. She is not Nigeria’s public relations representative. She leads the opposition and takes great pride in her role in this country; she speaks the truth and she presents things as they are and will not soften her words”.
Reacting, Phrank Shaibu said those criticizing Kemi Badenoch should pause for a moment of introspection. He said the fact that she has Yoruba roots does not automatically render her Nigerian. He said Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus is not the son of God.
According to Phrank Shaibu on his page;
“Those criticizing Kemi Badenoch should pause for a moment of introspection. The mere fact that her name is Kemi or that she has Yoruba roots does not automatically render her Nigerian. After all, Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus is not the son of God. Kashim Shettima should find something useful to do with his time!”.
