There have been several reactions from social media users after it was announced that the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi will be running on the LP platform.
The announcement was contained in a report that VANGUARD shared on its official X handle on Saturday.
The statement is coming ahead of the presidential election in 2027. According to report, the former governor of Anambra state made the statement while he was interacting with some of his supporters.
It is no longer news that this is coming after the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar announced a coalition to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.
The former governor of Anambra state was quoted as saying that;
“I will still continue to run in the Labour Party. I’m a member of the Labour Party.”.
