Popular Nigerian Billionaire, Business Man and Philanthropist, Aliko Dangote was recently speaking at an event and he opened up about the reason why he sold all his houses in the US and UK.
While speaking at the event, Dangote revealed that the reason why he sold all his houses in the United States Of America and London is because he wanted to concentrate on his businesses here in Nigeria.

“I used to have houses in the United States Of America and London but I sold them in 1996 or 1997 when I decided to go into industry because I was in trading before. You know, trading was very simple, I will just put orders and everything will be sorted, I don’t even have to be here to make that happen. So when I went into the industry, I said to myself that if I’m to keep those houses, then I will have to create a reason to go there, you know and you won’t believe that our office in London opened over 30 years ago”.
“I realized that if I have houses all over the United States Of America and London, I will not be able to concentrate and be able to build something for me people, so the best thing to do was to sell all those houses, so when i go to America or London, i just sleep in a hotel”, Aliko Dangote said.
