According to a viral video that was posted on the official X account of Channels TV on Monday FROM 1.32, the fomer governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole has stated that when Peter Obi came for a rally in Benin City, he didn’t wait till the end. Adams Oshiomhole made the statement after Peter Obi tweeted that the Edo state governorship election was a blatant example of state capture.
According to Peter Obi;
“What happened over the weekend in the name of election in Edo State does not in any way represent the democratic process we chose as a method of electing our political leadership. Instead, it was a blatant example of ‘state capture’ and continued gross undermining of our democratic process and values. Any nation whose leadership recruitment process is so fatally flawed is doomed, and we are all seeing the effect in our country”
Reacting to the statement, Adams Oshiomhole stated that at a point, Peter Obi disappeared from the screen when he came for rally in Edo state.
According to Adams Oshiomhole;
“I also noticed that when they came for a rally in Benin, he didn’t wait till the end of the rally or if he waited, at a point he disappeared from the screen”….Sêe _ Morê
