In a recent video from 28:00 on YouTube, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged Nigerians to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, emphasizing that spiritual preparedness is crucial amid life’s uncertainties.
During a recent sermon broadcast, Adeboye cited scripture to reinforce his message. “The Almighty God says, ‘Because you won’t listen to me, because you won’t take my counsel, because you are laughing at my commandments, He said I too will laugh when your fear comes,’” he said.
He warned that education and intelligence will not shield people from fear and uncertainty. “That time is coming when, with all your education, you begin to tremble in fear. He said then I will laugh,” Adeboye said.
The cleric directly appealed to those yet to embrace faith. “I appeal to those of you who are yet to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Do so now before it is too late,” he urged. He added that even at home, individuals can pray and ask God to save their souls and bring them into His family. “It is only in the family of God that there is security in the time of storm,” he stressed.
Adeboye also thanked God for modern technology, which allows him to reach people remotely during critical times. “My Father and my God, I want to bless Your holy name for Your word. I want to thank You for technology that can allow me to reach into the homes of Your children at a time like this. And I’m asking Lord God Almighty that all those who will surrender their lives to You at this moment, please receive them,” he prayed. Read_More…
