Eniola Ojajuni, president of the Afenifere National Youth Council, has shared more details about how he was kidnapped by bandits.

Speaking at an event covered by Sahara Reporters TV from 1:55, Ojajuni said the attack happened close to an Amotekun checkpoint and a military post. He said the attackers fired 19 bullets at his car and he was hit by two bullets from an AK-47.

Ojajuni explained that other vehicles traveling from Abuja and Osun State were also caught in the ambush. He said in total, nine people were kidnapped during the attack and they were all taken into the bush by the bandits. He said the kidnapping occurred around 1:44 p.m. and that they were forced to walk deep into the forest without rest until about 10:00 p.m.

In Ojajuni’s words: “Between Amotekun and the military checkpoint we were ambushed. 19 bullets were shot at my car and I sustained two AK-47 bullets in my buttocks. Other vehicles that were coming from Abuja and those going to Osun State were ambushed. We were 9 in number that were kidnapped and we started that journey”
