In a significant escalation of the ongoing conflict, Iran’s military has announced the launch of 200 ballistic missiles tàrgeting critical Israeli military installations.

The Iranian military made the announcement via their verified Twitter account, stating that they had hit three main airbases, including Nevatim, a base known for hosting F-35 fighter jets and serving as a delivery point for U.S. military aid to Israel.

“We launched 200 ballistic missiles of various types at three main airbases, including Nevatim, where the U.S. delivers bombs to the Zionist regime and which hosts F-35 fighter jets,” the statement read. Among the targeted bases was also Hatzerim, which Iran claims participated in the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Other targets reportedly included strategic assets such as radar systems and Mossad centers, as well as military units stationed around Gaza.

The attacks are seen as a direct retaliation for the recent deaths of senior militant leaders, including Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon. Iran framed these missile strikes as part of its broader defense of the Palestinian people, accusing Israel of engaging in genocide against Palestinians and attacking Iranian territory.

This missile barrage marks one of the most severe escalations in the Iran-Israel conflict, with both sides now involved in direct military actions. Israeli forces have been on high alert following these strikes, with air raid sirens and explosions reported across key locations in the country.

Israel has yet to fully disclose the extent of the damage, but tensions in the region continue to rise as both sides brace for further escalation. Global powers are increasingly concerned that the situation could spiral into a wider conflict involving other nations.
