In a recent prophecy posted on Facebook, Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele delivered a serious spiritual warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu about the introduction of a new naira note.
The religious figure, recognized for his regular prophecies concerning national and international issues, warned that this action could lead to the collapse of the current government.
“Tinubu, don’t print new naira note because if you print new note your government will collapse,” Primate Ayodele declared in the video post.
He stated that the prophecy is driven by spiritual inspiration rather than political motives, urging the president to pay attention to the warning for the sake of his government’s and the nation’s stability.
In the same communication, Primate Ayodele pointed out possible economic repercussions related to the introduction of new currency, saying, “I foresee that the dollar will weaken, and I want to advise Tinubu; this is a spiritual counsel.”
The cleric stressed that it is entirely the president’s choice whether to accept or disregard the message.
“If he wants to take it, he can; if he doesn’t want to, that’s his decision, and I’m indifferent to anyone else,” he concluded.
It is still uncertain if President Tinubu or anyone in his administration has addressed the prophecy.
Nonetheless, this message contributes to an increasing number of spiritual guidance provided to the government by religious leaders in light of Nigeria’s current economic difficulties.
