Governor Siminalayi Fubara was denied entry into the Rivers State House of Assembly on Wednesday, further escalating the political crisis in the state.

According to Arise TV, it was reported that despite making multiple formal attempts to contact the Speaker beforehand, Fubara was still prevented from accessing the legislative complex.

In a widely circulated video, he appeared alongside members of the Tribal Council, expressing his frustration over the situation and emphasizing that he had followed due process.

However, while he was reacting to the ugly development on his verified X handle on Wednesday, Senator Shehu Sani, who once represented the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, said that the main reason for the political crisis in Rivers State is to impeach the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara. And that is why peace has not been tolerated.
