According to Pasha, the Iranian regime has consistently engaged in destabilizing activities across the Middle East, using proxy groups to drag Arab nations into conflicts that serve Tehran’s agenda, only to later abandon them.
Pasha highlighted Iran’s long-standing strategy of fostering alliances with non-state actors and militant groups in various Arab countries. “The Iranian regime is destroying the Arabs and dragging them into its absurd wars,” he tweeted. This approach, according to Pasha, has led to widespread destruction and suffering in countries like Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria, where Iranian influence has been strongest. He further criticized Iran for leaving these groups unsupported once they had served their purpose, claiming that Tehran has shown no regard for the long-term welfare of the Arab people or the stability of the region.
In Iraq, Iran has been heavily involved in supporting Shia militias, which have played a prominent role in the country’s political and military landscape.
