In her words; “I came from a very religious family. I grew up as a preacher’s kid. My father is a Reverend, my mother is a pastor, and even my elder brother is also a pastor. I grew up in the church until I got married. My parents are very religious Christians, and I lived in the church all through my early years. I remember a day after finishing university when I went to church wearing a long bodycon skirt. As I was singing, my pastor, who was my dad at the time, instructed the ushers to send me down from the altar because of the type of skirt I was wearing. Despite that, they still called a meeting to discuss me. This shows how serious and religious the family I come from is.
