Joe Igbokwe has advised Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), to call off his planned protest. The protest is intended to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who is currently in detention
In a video Igbokwe shared on his Facebook page from 6:20, he said IPOB members have killed many people and destroyed several properties between 2015 and 2025 in southeast
Igbokwe also said his own house was among those burnt down during the violent attacks carried out by IPOB
In Igbokwe’s words: “For my friend Sowore, he has been my friend for years and I have advised him to remove his hand from what is happening in Igboland, this protest they are planning. You cannot dance on thousands of graveyards where our people were buried, you don’t know what happened. If you don’t know what happened come and I will explain to you. Actions carry consequences” See, More, Here>>>
