One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after the Rivers state govenment threatened legal action against the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, over N300 million that the association received.

According to Punch, the Rivers state government demanded for the money after NBA changed the Venue of 2025 Annual Conference from Rivers State to Enugu state.

Here is what the Sole Administrator said;

“Failure of the NBA to immediately refund the N300 million to the Rivers State Government will compel the implementation of all legal means to recover the property of the good people of Rivers State”.

However, Shehu Sani has now reacted after the report surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, he advised NBA to return the money. The former Kaduna lawmaker stated that the amount is not worth the insult.
