In Shaibu’s words: “After eating, they (bandits) told us to select ten people among ourselves whom they would kill, so we would know they were serious and our ransom will get paid. I was like the seniors should go since they have enjoyed. At a point I wanted to be a hero and volunteer myself but one of my classmates told me that I and her won’t die here and the seniors should die before us. Everything was like a dream until we spent a day there”
