Senator Shehu Sani, a well-known human rights advocate and former senatorial district lawmaker from Kaduna Central, recently responded to former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi’s declaration that he would only serve one term as president if given the chance.
As the 2027 elections approached, focus shifted to the opposition coalition’s presidential candidate after it decided to use the ADC as a platform to unseat the ruling APC.
Some prominent opposition politicians stood out with their manifestos, despite the fact that the party’s presidential ticket included a number of their interests.
Notable among these was Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate, who revealed that he would only serve one term if given the chance.
However, Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers State, also revealed in a recent interview on ChannelsTv that he would only need one term to prove himself if elected president.
However, the remarks caught the attention of Senator Shehu Sani, a well-known human rights attorney and former Kaduna lawmaker, who recently echoed the former governor’s remarks in a mocking tone on his official X handle.
In line with his remarks, he drew attention to the fact that Rotimi Amaechi also revealed his interest in a single term, echoing Peter Obi’s remarks.
These were Senator Shehu Sani’s remarks, which he posted on his official X account.
“He will also do one term.” He composed.
