One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Segun Showunmi has reacted to the statement that the President of the United State of America, Donald Trump made about Remi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The reaction of Segun Showunmi was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday, February 6, 2026.
According to News Central Tv, the President of the United State of America honoured the First Lady during an event in Washington DC.
Here is what he said;
“We’re honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at the largest church in Nigeria. A very respected woman”.
However, Segun Showunmi has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he congratulated the First Lady and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
