A report published by Daily Post on Thursday, November 6, 2025, revealed that popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken out about the current situation involving her family.
She confirmed that her parents, who had been separated for years, have come together once again, this time united by a common goal — to help secure the release of their son, Sammy West, who is currently being held in police custody.
According to the news outlet, Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, who is also a well-known actress, has remained vocal and visibly supportive of her daughter during the ongoing turmoil surrounding her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
However, her father, Jude Ojeogwu, has maintained a public silence and had not previously involved himself in the matter — until now.
Regina took to her Facebook page on Thursday to confirm that both of her parents, despite having gone their separate ways long ago, have now reunited in a show of support.
She made it clear that their renewed relationship is not driven by any hidden agenda or selfish interest. Instead, she stressed that the only motivation behind their reunion is their shared concern for her well-being and the desire to see their family whole and supported during this difficult period.
In her post, Regina also addressed the issue of her older brother Sammy West, who was recently arrested in connection with the growing tension and conflict believed to be tied to her troubled marriage.
She explained that he remains in custody and that his release has been unexpectedly delayed. Though she did not go into detail about the specific charges or accusations, she voiced her growing concern over how long the process has taken.
Regina stated firmly that the family will do whatever it takes to bring Sammy home. She even hinted at taking personal action if necessary, saying, “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me.”
