The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh has stated that the police didn’t kill any protester during the protest in Abuja.
She made the statement on her official X handle.
She made the statement while reacting to some of the reports that protesters were shot in the FCT.
In the post that she shared on her page, she said no protester was killed. She said FCT police have conducted themselves civilly and professionally since the protest began. The Police Public Relations Officer however, concluded her statement by claiming that lethal weapons were not issued to the officers but only anti-riot equipment.
Here is what she wrote on her official X handle;
“Contrary to speculations, operatives of the FCT police command have conducted themselves civilly and professionally. I can honestly state that our officers did not kill any protesters. In fact, no lethal weapons were issued; only anti-riot equipment was provided”….Sêe_Morē
