The presidency recently reacted after First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu was captured joyfully celebrating the victory of the Nigerian female football team, Super Falcons on Sunday. The moment was captured by the special adviser to the president on media and public communications Sunday Dare who shared the photos on his official X handle.
The Nigerian female football team known as the Super Falcons left many supporters across the globe stunned after they overturned a two goal deficit to clinch a record 10th WAFCON trophy.
The final which was held at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, Morocco witnessed a large crowd of supporters in attendance. The Moroccan female team took an early two goal lead which set the pace for an entertaining final.
However, the Super Falcons came out blazing in the second half, with three goals in the space of 45 intense minutes enough to clinch the title, sending it’s entire support base to jubilation.
The first Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu was not left out as she was captured joyfully celebrating the victory. This was according to a recent post which was shared by Sunday Dare on his official X handle.
The victory was the Super Falcons’ record extending 10th title, ensuring their dominance on the African women football stage.

“Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi Tinubu celebrating the victory of the Super Falcons at WAFCON finals.” He wrote.
