According to reports, the Minister met with Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru early Thursday morning in Abuja.
Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, shared the news of the meeting on social media. He noted that Governors Sheriff Oborevwori and Francis Nwifuru had just visited the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in Abuja.
He wrote,
“Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and his Ebonyi State counterpart, Francis Nwifuru, during their visit to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in Abuja a few minutes ago.”
This development comes weeks after Wike hosted the factional National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, at his residence in Abuja.
Commenting on the visit, Abure described it as private, emphasizing his right to meet with any public officeholder.
