Over a year after the 2023 presidential primaries and general election, Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, also known as Fadojoe, a former Labour Party (LP) presidential aspirant, has made allegations about the party’s internal dynamics. Fadojoe claims that after investing significant effort into reviving the Labour Party and announcing his presidential candidacy, Peter Obi allegedly took control of the party and secured the presidential ticket, effectively sidelining him.

Fadojoe expressed his frustration, noting that he and his team joined the Labour Party during its struggles and played a key role in its revival. He feels that his contributions were overlooked when Peter Obi took over the party’s presidential bid.

Despite the situation, Fadojoe remains committed to his earlier efforts and feels that Obi’s takeover was a strategic maneuver that ignored his foundational work and wasted an opportunity for effective leadership. He argues that Obi’s actions led to disappointment among those who had worked diligently to rejuvenate the party.

During an interview with The Sun, He remarked, “Despite what happened, he was still ready to work with Mr Peter Obi with his team to win the 2023 presidential election, but Obi and his handlers deliberately and consistently ignored his team despite the vibrancy. ”

“His Excellency Mr Peter Obi was really not ready to win that election. He only grabbed my ticket and wasted it when he had every opportunity. “….Sêe_Morē
