Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has stated that he has spoken with President Bola Tinubu three times but met him in person only twice
In an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On Podcast from 18:36, Sowore said the second time he saw Tinubu was during the 2023 National Peace Committee meeting, which was attended by all presidential candidates before the election. He said that while everyone was seated during the meeting, he was quietly reading his program booklet when Tinubu leaned over and dragged it from him
Sowore said Tinubu started reading from his program booklet and he left it with Tinubu and did not bother to take it back. He also dismissed the claims that he had any personal relationship with Tinubu
In Sowore’s words: “When everybody sat back down, I took my program and I was reading it. Tinubu leaned over and dragged it. You know how you go to church and share hymn book. He started reading my program and I said, ‘Asiwaju you have your own program’. So I left the program from him” See, More, Here>>>
