In a candid interview on Arise TV from 2:59, a former PDP lawmaker who represented Rivers South East Senatorial District, Senator Olaka Nwogu expressed concern over misleading reports regarding Nyesom Wike’s alleged summons, clarifying that the committee has not yet convened to discuss the issue.

Nwogu pointed out that individuals familiar with the situation have contributed to the spread of misinformation, perhaps for personal reasons.

He acknowledged the various allegations and attempts to misrepresent the committee’s work, emphasizing that the committee is still organizing itself to properly address its responsibilities.

According to Olaka Nwogu, “I am a member of the disciplinary committee of the party. I was disturbed when the report came that Nyesom Wike had been summoned at a time when the disciplinary committee has not even met to consider any of these things. There has been a lot of misinformation to the public sometimes by people who should know better, who shouldn’t do that for reasons they know best. There are allegations that are flying all over the place, and even the committee’s work is being put in different light from what the committee has tried to do. The committee is still organising itself to now look at its functions.”….Explore Further
