According to the report from the Sun, a former Senator that represented Kano South, Senator Musa’ud El-Jilbrin Doguwa emphasized the significant impact that a single individual can have on political outcomes, stating that no party would want to lose a member like Nyesom Wike.

He expressed hope for Wike to eventually recognize the value of reconciliation with his party, suggesting that the PDP remains open to mending their relationship.

At the same time, Doguwa acknowledged that personal influence in politics is transient and that the PDP will move forward regardless of Wike’s ultimate decision.

According to El-Jilbrin Doguwa, “I want you to understand one thing about politics. In politics, one man is important to your victory. What it means is that no political party in this country will like to lose one of its members, talk less of somebody like Wike. Our prayer is that someday he will come to realize that he has a political party that is ready to truly reconcile with him. But if he refuses, PDP will move ahead. Whatever you are is just a matter of time. Whatever you are is just a matter of time. Whatever he is today is also a matter of time.”….SeeMore
