Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, delivered a sermon titled “Living by the Royal Law in the Lord,” in which he shed light on how to recognize false prophets.
“False prophets are those who preach the Bible to others, but never preach it to themselves,” Pastor Kumuyi declared. “They preach about holiness, but don’t preach it to themselves. They quote Scriptures to others – wife, husband, parents – but fail to quote it to themselves.”
In a sermon video from 1 hour 40 minutes, from he emphasized the importance of proclaiming the royal law to both others and oneself, saying, “We must proclaim the royal law first to others as well as to ourselves.” He also warned against deviating from the proper preaching and application of God’s word, urging believers to “proclaim the word of God forcefully, faithfully, transparently, and without deviation.”
“The word of God is higher than any man, it is much more old than any man,” Pastor Kumuyi stressed. “Proclaim the word faithfully, transparently, and let it remain the word of God.”
