Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, delivered a compelling sermon titled “The Complete Possession of Our Covenant Blessings” at the Leadership Development and Training service.

In his message, he provided crucial insights on what believers should do when their prayers seem to go unanswered.

In the sermon from 15 minutes, Pastor Kumuyi highlighted that the condition ‘if’ plays a critical role in receiving answers to prayers. “Anytime you pray and pray, and you are not getting answers, go and check again whether you have omitted something, maybe you have disobeyed God in one way or the other,” he advised.

He urged believers to examine their lives for any disobedience or departure from God’s commandments.

He used a striking analogy to illustrate his point, comparing the deadly impact of small sins to the harm caused by mosquitoes. “Have you noticed that lions don’t kill as many people as the tiny, inconsequential mosquitoes? While lions kill just a few people, mosquitoes kill people in their millions. It manifests in malaria and typhoid fevers,” he explained.

Pastor Kumuyi emphasized that it is often the small, overlooked sins that undermine our spiritual lives and block our blessings. “Big sins don’t come our way most times; it is the little things that we don’t pay attention to which work against us, kill our spiritual lives, and take our blessings away from us.”

He stressed the importance of meticulous obedience to God’s word, noting that seemingly minor acts of disobedience can have significant spiritual consequences. “Don’t see anything wrong as being small,” he warned, urging the congregation to be vigilant in their spiritual walk….Seë_Morë
