In a video posted by Symfoni TV, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, while speaking before leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), recalled the strong bond between her late father and Professor Jerry Gana, noting that both men attended the same school.

She revealed that the institution, originally known as the premier secondary school of the old Kaba province, later became Okene Secondary School, now called Abdulaziz Atame Memorial College.

The senator also mentioned that she recently donated 700 computers to students of the school, describing the gesture as part of her commitment to grassroots development and political engagement.

In her words, “And at this point, permit me to regress a little bit to speak fondly of Professor Jerry Gana. He’s a man I’ve known for many years, and he’s a man who shared bonds with my late father.”

“They attended the same school, which is presently known as the Abdulaziz Atame Memorial College. Then it was called the premier secondary school of the old Kaba province.”

“And then it changed its name to Okene Secondary School. That is the secondary school that I, two weeks ago, was privileged to share 700 computers with the students of your alma mater, dear sir.”

“And I did mention that politics is local. We are all ambassadors. And if we are on the agenda to recruit new members and to endear our party in the hearts of people, if we are trying to position ourselves as the true opposition in 2027.
