The family Tarsiidae includes tarsiers, which are haplorrhine apes. They are tiny nocturnal creatures with enormous eyeballs that measure about 16 mm (0.63 in) in diameter and are thought to be at least as big as the entire brain.

With 180-degree head rotation in any direction and lengthy arms and fingers, they have 360-degree vision. Due to its 91 kHz hearing frequency, tarsiers may detect minute movements that are far away. They can use it to keep tabs on the movements of their prey and use it to evade forecasters.

They are quickly alarmed by obtrusive sounds, close proximity, or bright lighting.

How do they eat and drink?

Tarsiers eat a wide range of insects, including as spiders, termites, beetles, moths, ants, grasshoppers, walking sticks, cockroaches, and crickets. In addition, they eat leaves and fruits. For refreshment and hydration, they sip water.

Blinking is it possible for them?

The tongue is used by tarsiers to wipe their eyes because they are unable to blink. They can view 180 degrees because their eyes are so large and outwardly positioned.

They suicidal because of what?

This is because tarsiers are timid and fearful animals, and touching them, using camera flashes, and crate-keeping tend to stress them out in captivity. An irritated tarsier will slam its head against things, killing it. Many of them died as a result of torture and hostile conditions, as you will discover.

What is the greatest location to search for them?

They are arboreal creatures that inhabit dense, dense scrub, even agricultural land. The southern Philippine islands where they can be found are Celebes, Belitung, Natuna, Sumatra, Borneo, and Baryka. They commit suicide when transferred to a new habitat because of the unfamiliar surroundings.

How long do you think they’ll live? They have a lifespan of two to twelve years. This depends mostly on death, environmental factors, and the habitat they are in. Most of them die by suicide….S££ MOR£
