During a recent sermon, Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, spoke about how many Christians have become distracted from reading the Word of God.

Speaking to his congregation, Oyedepo said that one of the devil’s main strategies is to keep believers away from the Bible because that’s where their spiritual strength comes from.

He lamented that many people no longer open their physical Bibles but depend on their phones instead.

“How can you be in church and be pressing your phone while God is speaking?” he asked, urging Christians to focus on God’s Word without distractions.

Bishop Oyedepo encouraged believers to return to personal Bible study and treat the Scriptures with reverence. He said that true strength, wisdom, and victory in life come from consistent devotion to God’s Word — not from digital convenience. See, More, Here>>>
