The Labour Party, LP, under the leadership of Barrister Julius Abure has taken to its official X account on Wednesday to accuse the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi and governor of Abia state, Alex Otti of betrayal. The party claimed that people like Peter Obi and Alex Otti who have turned warriors today were rolling on the floors begging for ticket in 2023.
According to the statement tilted, “INEC Punishing Labour Party For The Role It Played Defending Peter Obi, Alex Otti In 2023”, the party stated that some people could not even afford to pay for the nomination forms during the 2023 elections.
According to the statement that was posted by Labour Party;
“Many of these men who are holding several political offices but suddenly turned warriors today, seeking the head of Julius Abure to be served on a platter, were rolling on the floors, begging for ticket. Some couldn’t even afford to pay for the nomination forms”.
