Former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X account to react after the Director-General of the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, said some people are threatening her life.

According to VANGUARD, Adeyeye said she can no longer move around without policemen.

She said;

“I told you about the attempted murder about six months ago. One of our staff members in Kano had his child kidnapped because he was doing his job. Fortunately, the child escaped. For me, I have two policemen living in my house 24/7 in Abuja and Lagos. I don’t have a life. I can’t go anywhere without police escorts. That’s not my way of living, but I don’t have a choice because we must save our country. Nonetheless, I also use common sense”.

According to Shehu Sani on his official X account;

“She has become their nightmare by courageously and consistently bursting their evil and deadly business and protecting the lives of Nigerians. They want to be left alone to produce food and drinks in their backyards that will kill our children. Prof Moji has maintained and advanced the standard set by the late heroine, Dora Akunyili. The threat to Prof Moji is a threat to the lives of all Nigerians”.
