One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Segun Showunmi has reacted to a campaign poster of Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, the son of the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
The reaction of Segun Showunmi was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
In the post that surfaced online, the son of the former President was contesting to be a member of the House of Representatives in the forthcoming presidential election in 2027.
However, in a post that Segun Showunmi shared on his official X handle, he commended Yusuf for being noble. Showunmi stated that the former President didn’t force his son on the people of Nigeria. Segun Showunmi however, wished Yusuf good luck in his future endeavours.
