The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to condemn the recent remarks by the Incumbent Governor of Bauchi State and the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, Bala Mohammed.

According to a post on the official X handle of Sunday Dare, the President’s spokesman urged Governor Bala Mohammed to retract the statement he made about showing the President his true color. Mr. Sunday Dare insisted that Governor Bala is called to exemplify statesmanship and not make remarks that could cause harm to the person of the President.

Sunday Dare had written, “As a state governor, he is called to exemplify statesmanship and work toward national cohesion. I urge him to retract these confrontational remarks and redirect his focus toward productive dialogue with the FG regarding any concerns about the Tax Reform Act.”
