A human rights activist and a staunch member of the Labour Party (LP), Dele Farotimi, has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to say that his struggle in Nigeria is to ensure that every Nigerian truly has the rights of a citizen as opposed to what the system presents to the people.

According to a post on the official X handle of Dele Farotimi, the LP bigwig said that his determination is to win the right to citizenship for him and his children.

The X user, Maduabuchi, had expressed admiration for Dele’s courage. Dele Farotimi, in response, said only citizens have the right to demand a referendum.
