The former secretary of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Uche Okwukwu has stated that he emerged victorious in the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Election that was held in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of ARISE TV on Saturday.
In the viral video, Okwukwu stated that when it was the turn of Imo state to produce the President-General of Ohanaeze in 2021, the election was conducted in Imo. He said in 2025, it’s the turn of Rivers state to produce the president and the election was conducted in Port Harcourt.
Here is what Okwukwu said;
“In 2021, it was the turn of Imo state to produce the President-General and the election was held in Imo. In 2025, it is the turn of Rivers state to produce the President and the election was held in Port Harcourt.
“The election was concluded on the 10th of January 2025 and I, Uche Okwukwu, the former Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, emerged victorious in that election. I don’t know about any election that was held at the government house in Enugu, it is not in line with our traditions”.
