In recent developments regarding regional security threats, Iranian officials are expressing increasing concern about potential aggression from adversaries. Mohsen Rezaei, a prominent figure in Iran’s political landscape, shared his insights during a recent statement.
Rezaei, who previously served as the chief commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and currently holds a position on Iran’s Expediency Council, highlighted a perceived strategy among Iran’s enemies to expand their influence and military actions towards Iran, particularly following incidents in Gaza and Lebanon.
Rezaei emphasized that Iran’s adversaries are not only focusing their efforts on the Palestinian territories and Lebanon but are also looking to extend their operations into Iranian territory.
He articulated that even if Iran chooses to refrain from responding to these provocations, the aggressive actions from these external forces are likely to continue unabated.
Rezaei said, “The enemy’s plan is to advance toward Iran after Gaza and Lebanon, and even if we did not respond to any of their aggressions, they would still continue their actions.”
