Former APC National Women Leader, Stella Okotete, has expressed confidence that by 2027, the political movement known as “Obidients” will no longer exist, while “BATists” will dominate and secure electoral victories for the APC.

She made this known during an interview with TVC News from 8:19, while discussing the potential challenges posed by the PDP and the Labour Party in the 2027 elections.

Okotete dismissed both parties as threats to the APC, emphasizing that public perception has shifted in favour of President Bola Tinubu. She highlighted the impact of President Tinubu’s economic policies, improvements in security in northern Nigeria, and overall economic progress, stating that these developments are being recognized across different social classes.

She noted that by 2027, the influence of the “Obidients” movement would have faded, and instead, “BATists” would emerge as the dominant political force, securing victories in all elections for the APC.

“I don’t see the Labour Party as a threat to us, neither do I see the PDP as a threat to the APC. That narrative has changed, a whole lot of people are now seeing the fruits of what president Tinubu is doing in the economy,” she said.

“A whole lot of people are seeing a better Nigeria, insecurity in the north has reduced, the economy boom is affecting all classes in the society, and so I’m very sure that in 2027, we won’t even have anything called Obidients, instead, we will have the BATists taking all elections, winning all elections,” she added.
