One of the members of the House of Representatives, Ikenga Ugochinyere has taken to his official X account to react after court stopped the Central Bank of Nigeria from releasing allocations to Rivers State.
According to PUNCH, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday stopped the Central Bank of Nigeria from further releasing monthly financial allocations to Rivers State Government.
Reacting to the report, Ikenga Ugochinyere said the judgement is the height of judicial rascality and an invitation to anarchy.
Ikenga Ugochinyere said nobody will stop the allocation of Rivers state.
According to Ikenga Ugochinyere on his page;
“Judgment to seize Rivers State allocation, an unenforceable height of judicial rascality, invitation to anarchy. Judgment appealed already. Nobody will stop Rivers allocation.
“2025 budget to be presented before the Oko Jumbo led House until all issues concerning legitimacy of Pro Wike sacked lawmakers are resolved by the Supreme Court”.
