The former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has revealed what he told Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy after he celebrated him on his birthday.
The former governor of Kaduna state made the statement while speaking during an interview on Arise TV.
In the video that surfaced online, Nasir El-Rufai said after Bayo Onanuga celebrated him on his birthday, he complained that he messed up his birthday.
He said he told him that some of his critics who never wanted to celebrate him were compelled to do so. The former governor of Kaduna state said he was not flattered when he saw the message.
When the presenter asked Nasir El-Rufai that;
“The President sent you a birthday message. Were you flattered?”.
He responded by saying that;
“I wasn’t flattered. I even complained to Bayo Onanuga when I saw him. I told him and said; “why did you mess up my birthday?”.
“All my enemies that were jubilating that no one would recognize my birthday were made to celebrate me. Some were compelled to send me birthday greetings”.
