The Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi has stated that the first five or six days during the 2020 EndSars protests were peaceful until the story changed.
He made the statement on his official X handle on Monday. He recalled the incident after an X user told him that during the protests, policemen were served food and drinks by protesters.
Here is what the X user wrote;
“The Endsars protest that I saw, peaceful protesters went about sharing food and drinks to the police officers that were on ground protecting them.These are the real protesters”.
Reacting to the statement, Muyiwa Adejobi said the first five or six days were ok. He said after that, the story changed.
Here is what he wrote on his page;
“I was the PPRO lagos during the Endsars, and I have my facts. The first 5 or 6 days were ok but after that, it’s a story for another day. I will still address the Endsars saga one of these days. Even the organizers had to pull out at a stage”….Seë _ Morë
