He asserted that their actions have remained within the legal framework, countering accusations from the FCT Minister. He accused the FCT Minister of making statements that could instill fear and apprehension among peaceful demonstrators. He said in an interview with Arise TV From 3:20, ”We haven’t done anything outside the confines of the law. If at all, it is the FCT Minister who has been making vituperations that are arbitrary and illegal by uttering such words which are capable of putting peaceful demonstrators in apprehension or fear. It is Wike who has been doing everything possible to stop peaceful and hungry Nigerians from protesting.

It is the right of Nigerians to show their displeasure to the current hardship which has been occasioned by the government of the day. We do not need permission from Wike to use Eagle square, It belongs to the people. I believe that we should be accorded the right to show our displeasure because we are angry.”….Seë_Morë
