Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has voiced his disappointment at a recent lecture by Mike Ozekhome that failed to acknowledge any progress made in the country. In a video posted by Channels Television From 0:47, Wike expressed his expectation that the lecturer would have highlighted some achievements amidst the criticisms.

He questioned how it was possible to conclude that no progress had been made in 25 years, citing examples of past struggles and detentions.

According to him, “I expected the lecturer (Mike Ozekhome) to say yes, we have made some progress. In all his lectures, not one progress was made. Criticism, criticism, criticism. Are you telling me that for 25 years, we have not made one progress? Then we can say, Yes, we have made this progress, but there is still room for us to move forward. Just like Shehu Sani said, how they were locked up. How they were detained”…..Sēē Morē
