Policy Development Expert, Jake Epelle has stated that the Rivers state government under the leadership of Siminalayi Fubara is yet to receive the October federal allocation.
He made the statement in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of NEWS CENTRAL TV on Monday from 2.25.
In the viral video, he said the federal government is lying that Rivers state has received the fund. Jake Epelle said the govenment should stop playing politics with things that will affect the state.
Jake Epelle said he can bet with his last blood that the fund has not entered the account of Rivers state.
When the presenter said;
“The October federal revenue was shared among the 36 states including Rivers state. Are you clearly saying that Rivers State has not gotten and if yes, who is telling the lie here?”.
He replied by saying that;
“I can bet the last drop of my blood that Rivers has not received the fund except that fund hits the account of Rivers Treasury by 12 midnight. As at this morning, going by what I know, the fund has not been received by Rivers state government. We should stop playing politics with things like this”.
