Habibat Jinad, a Yoruba actress, has talked about some of the things that happened to her when she used to go to church despite being a Muslim. She also talked about how her religious beliefs were altered after she saw her grandmother in a dream.
During an interview in a video uploaded to Wasilacoded TV’s official YouTube channel, she made it known that she is a Muslim, but she used to go to church until one day her grandmother appeared to her in a dream and gave her a message.
She claimed that it took her a while to realize that she needed to be closer to God and that this could not be achieved by regularly attending church or a mosque.
In her words, “I abandoned Islam initially because I thought praying 5 times daily was very stressful for me, and I decided to practice Christianity. My grandma had already told my family before she died that they should give me a rosary.”
