Nigerian activist and musician has reacted after hearing about the death of the President General Of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwunanyawu.
According to DAILY POST, Emmanuel Iwunanyawu died in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja on Thursday.
In the post that Charly Boy shared on his official page, he recalled how he met the deceased in his village and how he supported him with the sum of $8. Charly Boy said it was the money that Chief Emmanuel Iwunanyawu gave him that he used to start up a studio in his village. He said he was the first Nigerian who believed in him and supported his dream.
Here is what Charly Boy wrote on his page;
“It was Chief Emmanuel Iwunanyawu who accidentally met me in my village Oguta, after I disowned my parents for not buying into my dreams. He dashed me $8.000 at the time. I almost fainted. He was the very first Nigerian who supported and believed in my dream. My people, legacy is really about the lives we touched, the inspiration we gave, altering someone’s plan – if even for a moment – and getting them to think, cry, laugh, argue. More than anything, we are remembered for our smiles; the ones we share with our closest and dearest, and the ones we bestow on total strangers”….Seë_Morë
