The Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has stated that Nobel laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka can continue to throw punches at him and Peter Obi but all he will do is to pray for him.
This statement was contained in a viral video that was shared on the official X handle of ARISE TV.
Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed made the statement after the Nobel laureate advised Peter Obi not to contest in the 2027 presidential election. Speaking during the interview, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed said intellect does not give Wole Soyinka the right to insult anybody.
“He could continue to throw punches at my principal and at me as small as I am but all I can do is that I will grieve in my heart and I will pray from him. You see, intellect does not give Wole Soyinka the right to insult anybody”.
