Amid the ongoing crisis in the country, a former Lagos State governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party, Babatunde Gbadamosi addressed Nigerians in a passionate statement, urging them to stand up for their rights and defend themselves against any attacks while participating in peaceful protests.

Encouraging citizens to channel their hunger, anger, frustration, and suffering, Gbadamosi called for relentless and ferocious self-defense in the face of aggression from anyone, including those in uniform.

With the rallying cry of “No retreat, No Surrender,” Gbadamosi emphasized the importance of remaining steadfast and determined in the fight for their rights and the betterment of their country.

Babatunde Gbadamosi said this in a post he shared on his official X handle.

“Dear Nigerians,

If you are attacked by anyone, uniformed or not, whilst exercising your right to embark on peaceful protest, please, by all possible means, and with anything available to you, defend yourselves, ferociously and relentlessly. Unleash your hunger, anger, frustration and suffering on whoever attacks you. Do not hold back. No retreat, No Surrender.”…..Sêe_Morē
